BIOGRAPHY
Lim Kit Yng was appointed to the Board as an Independent Non-Executive Director on 2 October 2025. She holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Mathematics (Statistics) from the University of Bath, England, and brings over 30 years of experience in capital markets, primarily in institutional sales across both local and international financial institutions.
Lim began her career in London with Lane, Clark & Peacock as an Actuarial Assistant, where she spent 2 years before returning to Malaysia, to join Aseambankers Berhad as a Money Market Dealer, gaining hands-on exposure to treasury operations.
In 1993, she joined RHB Securities Sdn Bhd as part of the International Institutional Sales team, serving global fund managers and institutional investors. With her capital market knowledge and analytical skills, plus her commitment to governance excellence, Lim brings depth and an independent perspective to the Board.
Beyond her professional career, Lim is passionate about sports, fitness, and healthy living. She represented Kuala Lumpur and Malaysia in netball from 1991 to 1999 and remains an enthusiastic advocate of healthy nutrition and maintaining a balanced lifestyle.
She has retired from her role as Country Head of CLSA Malaysia Securities Sdn Bhd, a position she held from 2016 to 2025. Prior to that, she served as Head of Institutional Sales from 2007 to 2016. Throughout her tenure, she has been recognised for her strong client relationships, market acumen and strategic leadership in driving the firm’s market presence across Malaysia and the region.
