As a forward-looking company, long before our competitors were thinking about the long-term need for capacity expansion, we conceptualised our Next Generation Integrated Glove Manufacturing Complex (NGC) in Sepang, Selangor. Apart from NGC, we are also based in Bestari Jaya, Selangor.

With the NGC as an iconic glove manufacturing complex, we have been successful in leapfrogging the glove sector from one that is regarded as low-tech and labour intensive, to one that is acclaimed as high-tech and innovation driven with a skilled workforce. To this end, all of our production facilities are purpose-built to deliver efficiency, quality, flexibility and sustainability.

Given the tremendous global demand for our gloves, we see vast opportunities for growth in the industry. Our state-of-the-art plants enable us to tap into these prospects to drive Hartalega to greater heights.

In 1995, we created the industry's first automated mechanical stripping system, which removed both Latex and Nitrile gloves efficiently. To this day, we utilise this proprietary system, which can remove more than 45,000 gloves per hour – a performance that remains unrivalled.

Our biomass energy plant is the first in the industry to be registered with the United Nations Framework on Climate Change (Kyoto Protocol) as a carbon neutral and environmentally-friendly plant. It uses plantation waste such as oil palm empty fruit bunch fibres to supply heat that is utilised as part of our production process. Goodpac™ Technology:
Streamlining the packaging process

Goodpac™ is a cost- saving single glove dispensing technology, which prevents glove wastage and contamination. A Digital Quality System (DQS) scans and detects even the most miniscule of defects. Gloves with defects are removed automatically, eliminating the human error element commonly encountered through conventional inspection and sorting methods. With DQS, each and every glove that leaves the factory is 100% free of visual defects.
