Kelvin Loh Hsien Han was appointed to the Board as an Independent Non-Executive Director on 2 May 2024. Kelvin holds a double degree in Commerce (majoring in Accounting and Finance) and a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) with Honours from the University of Sydney, Australia.
With more than 24 years of experience in legal practice, including in the fields of corporate mergers and acquisitions, banking and finance, capital markets, Islamic finance and real estate, Kelvin began his career at a Malaysian law firm in 1999, and was made Partner in 2008. In 2012, he joined Rahmat Lim & Partners, where he has led and advised on numerous debt capital markets and Sukuk transactions, including sustainability-linked finance, structured finance and asset securitisation. He also regularly advises on syndicated loans, project finance (including cross border project finance for the real estate, data centre and renewable energy sectors), and often acts for private equity and private credit firms.
Kelvin is ranked in Banking & Finance in Chambers Asia-Pacific, recognised as a Highly Regarded lawyer in Banking, Capital Markets and Islamic Finance in IFLR1000, and ranked as a Leading Individual in Banking and Finance in The Legal 500 Asia Pacific. He is also recognised as a Recommended lawyer in the areas of Banking and Capital Markets in the WWL Southeast Asia Guide.
Currently, he is the Co-Head of the Financial Services Department at Rahmat Lim & Partners and is also a Partner at Allen & Gledhill LLP (Rahmat Lim & Partners’ associate firm in Singapore).
