The Edge Billion Ringgit Club Corporate Awards recognises Malaysia’s biggest and best-performing companies. Hartalega received the award for Highest Return on Equity Over 3 Years in the Industrial Products sector for the third time.

Reflecting our strong people practices and employee engagement, Hartalega was the winner of the Manufacturing – Chemical & Heavy Industries category.

Hartalega was inducted into the MSCI Malaysia Index, which is best known for its primary benchmark indexes for markets outside the US. We were evaluated based on eight factors: momentum, volatility, value, size, growth, non-linearity, liquidity and financials.

Hartalega received this award as a result of our corporate governance best practices in key areas, such as disclosure and transparency, shareholders’ rights and equitable treatment and corporate and investor relations, amongst others.
